Every year many people are permanently disabled or are fatally injured during construction work, as a result the Department of Labour has promulgated the construction regulations to regulate construction activities with several mandatory safety requirements. This course is designed for people who want to specialise in construction health and safety management after completing their SAMTECH course. According to new legislative requirements no person can work as a Construction Health and Safety Officer without being registered with the SACPCMP Council. Candidates completing this course shall gain the knowledge required to work as competent Construction Health and Safety Officers and qualify for mandatory registration process with SACPCMP Council.
